New Zealand reels after terror attack, one of its ?darkest days?

One man was arrested in the shootings and charged with murder in what appeared to be a carefully planned racist attack that killed least 49 people at two mosques full of worshippers attending Friday prayers.

What we know about the New Zealand attacks

? At least 49 people are dead and more than 20 people are seriously wounded.

? A 28-year-old Australian white supremacist claimed responsibility for the attacks.

? Part of the shooting was livestreamed on Facebook and tech companies are working to remove the video from their platforms.

Police investigated a property in Dunedin, New Zealand, following the deadly attacks.

New Zealand shooting was livestreamed on Facebook

The speed at which a video of the New Zealand mosque shooting spread across social media platforms has demonstrated yet again that tech companies such as Facebook are still struggling to control content.
