Damaging winds and minor to moderate coastal flooding are expected as the snow piles up.

What you need to know about today's winter storm

? Most snow will fall between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

? 2-4 inches per hour expected to fall in that time

? Wind gusts could reach 65 miles per hour along coast

? 6 to 12 inches expected in Boston, more outside I-495
