Candidates, voters go to the polls

Elizabeth Warren, Senator Scott Brown, and Mitt Romney all voted in Massachusetts this morning as voters across the state began casting their ballots in federal, state, and local races.

Mitt Romney waved to onlookers as he arrived to vote in Belmont.

Romney said he felt “very good” after casting his ballot and emerging to cheers outside a local senior center.

Many voters face long lines

Lines of more than an hour greeted voters in some communities as early turnout numbers in some polling locations soared.

Starting at 6 p.m. tonight, BostonGlobe.com will have results, video analysis, and live updates for the elections.
